I made this shawl for my mom for Mother’s day. The pattern is Golden Orchids by Aino Haikala.
I definitely learned to have more fun with a photo session before giving a gift away. My mom loved it!
Yarn and other details are on my Ravelry project page. I called this the Antique Shawl because the color reminded my of antique shopping with my mom when I was growing up.
I love giving handmade gifts, though it sometimes means I don’t end up keeping a lot of my knit items for myself.
